Ingredients
Onions chopped: 1 medium sized
Pototo boiled and peeled: 2 medium sized
Besan: 1.5 tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
Salt:1 tsp
Green chilli: 1 or 2
Hing: a pinch
Curry leaves: 6
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Urad dhal: 1 tsp
Oil: 2 tsp
Cilantro chopped: 1 tsp
Procedure:
Step1:
Cut the boiled potatoes to small cubes and slit the green chillies.
Step2:
Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.Once it starts spluttering add urad dhal and curry leaves
Step3:
Add onions and green chillies and saute till the onions become translucent
Step4:
Mix besan in 1/4 cup of water and add it to the fried onions
Step5:
Add boiled potatoes,salt, hing and mix well
Step6:
Boil for another 3 - 5 minutes until everything gets cooked well.
Step7:
Garnish with chopped cilantro
Serve with poori
